The Baton Rouge Community Radio
Station WHYR 96.9 FM seeks to hire a full-time Station Manager to oversee the
overall day-to-day management of the station, including the coordination of staff
and ensuring access and equity for WHYR’s volunteer workers and affiliates.

The Baton Rouge Community Radio project is seeking volunteers to help staff our 1st Annual Radiopalooza on Sunday, June 5th. This all-day event will feature 2 stages, 15 local bands, a food truck round-up and homemade jambalaya, and more! If you are interested in assisting with selling tickets, bartendering, selling merchandise, or helping organize bands for the day, please e-mail racheal.hebert@whyr.org.

Baton Rouge Community Radio WHYR 96.9 FM is
hosting the First Annual Summer Radiopalooza, a music festival to raise funds
for non-profit BR Community Radio on Sunday, June 5, 2011. Radiopalooza will
take place from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Beauvoir Park by Perkins Overpass. Current lineup includes local bands Calico,
Polly Pry, Ben Bell and the Star Dust Boys, Erin Miley, Adrian Strickland,
Daniel Lee, The Buskers, Gris Gris, Kevin Landry & The Front Brusly
Swampers, Sweet Jasmine, Baby Boy, and Thomas Johnson & The People. Spread the word!
